Schuri Review: The Explosive Gentleman

Hoopa Gamers!

Well known as one of the greatest PvP / CR opener in the game, all Schuri's efficiency is based on his Speed and Critical Chance.

Thanks to his passive, Schuri is a unique hero offering CR boost to your team by 15-25% each time he crits.

With poison on his s1, he is very useful against PvE bosses and an excellent addition to your Golem 11 team.

The PROS:

- An amazing opener for your PvP composition.

- Versatile across PvE and PvP.

- Excellent Golem 11 (paired with Lidica, review here) and to fasten any PvE runs.

- His s2 passive allows your team to gain 15-25% CR (excluding caster) each time he crits.

- His s1 has 25-30% to land Poison, excellent in PvE / against bosses.

- His s3 can reduce CR of all enemies by 30% if he crits.

The CONS:

- Need 100% critical chance to be effective.

- Squishy.

- Need high speed substats.

The SET:

Speed/Crit or Life

To reached 100%, we often use Critical Chance % on the Necklace - allowing us to use a Life or Unity Set for a better survivability or dual chance. If you can get 90% with Critical set, then you can place a Critical Damage % on Necklace.

Speed boots and Attack% on Ring.

The early STATS (based on average 70 level+ epic gears, maxed at 15):

- Speed: 210+

- Attack: 2K+

- Def: 750+

- HP: 8K+

- Critical Chance: 100%+

- Critical Damage: a great bonus, he can deal substantial damage if you manage CDM on Necklace.

- Effectiveness: you want at least 50% if you intend to land Poison against PvE bosses.

The ARTEFACTS:

- Rosa Hargana: Maybe one of the best, Dual Attack Chance increased by 7-14% and increase Attack by 30% when it is not her turn. Helps Schuri to be able to boost his team on his allies turn.

- Sword of Judgement: 10- 20.0% chance to attack again with a Basic Attack if the target survives a single attack. Can only be activated once per turn. Very efficient for extra CR Push after his s3 or s1.

- Song of Stars: 100% chance for an enemy to become targeted for 2 turns after you use s1. Damage dealt on targeted enemies is increased by 15%. This is great when you have some heavy DPS in your team.

- Infinity Basket: Increases allies chance of Dual Attack by 7-14.0% during the caster's turn. Dual Attack will deal 20% more damage. Excellent in PvP Cleave if you pair him with a heavy s1 DPS like Bellona.

- Bloodstone: Heals the ally with the lowest Health by 13-26.0% of damage dealt. With is speed, critical chance and short AOE cool down, Schuri managed to cumulate great damage on long fight in PvE - if you have none of the above and need a bit of sustain, it will give you that missing edge.

On a budget:

- Ranon's Memorandum: Increase speed up to 2%, can stack up 10 times = 20%. Good for PvE.

- Joker: For PvE.

His good BUDDIES:

- C. Domi pairs very well as Schuri is all about that critical and she can increase her CR drastically.

- Lidica and Schuri in Golem 11 is a wonderful push.

How to counter a Violet in PvP:

1. You need a faster CR opener and a Diene, her shield reduce critical chance on her allies.

2. As usual, any fast opener with CD reduction --> Stun--> Silence in that order to avoid his s3.
