Datamine Spoiler: New upcoming heroes Luluca and Fallen Cecilia (NEW META STALL RESISTANCE coming!)


With the fanatical pace of new heroes release in Epic Seven, it is always so helpful to gather some updates datamine ahead to avoid wasting your resources and time building obsolete units - this one thanks to Reddit u/buttreynolds.

So lets have a closer look at Luluca, Fallen Cecilia and artefact Spirit's Breathe and how / where they could improve your progression in Epic Seven.


NEW ICE MAGE: LULUCA



"An Alien girl who traveled across the universe seeking revenge against Straze for bringing ruin to her world. She's determined to make Straze pay for what he has done to her friends and restore her homeworld"


Skill 1: Wild Wave

Attacks with intense elemental force. Damage dealt increases proportional to the amount of the enemy's lost Health.


Skill 2: Rekos's Blessing

With the blessing of the stars, grants increased Defense and barrier to all allies for 2 turns. Barrier strength increases proportional to the caster's Attack. Soul Burn: -1 turn cooldown


Skill 3: Wave of Vengeance

Attacks all enemies with the power of ruin, with a 50-75% (mola upgrades) chance to decrease Defense for 2 turns. Damage dealt increases every time using this skill and can stack up to 3 times."

Assumptions:

Overall skill set and multipliers makes her highly suitable for PvE, and some PvP use - more on the offensive side.


For PvE, she sounds perfect for Wyvern 11, Azi 11 and even Banshae 11 as her AOE s3 (def break 2 turn) can stack up to 3 times (perfect for long run PvE) and her s1 scale on enemy's HP loss - which is neat against any PvE boss.

Overall, if you don't have a AOE def breaker (like Bellona) - she could fit that spot easily in PvE.

Her s2 providing def buff and barrier strenght based on her atack is such great support skill as well, so she will be very handy in both Abyss and Raids.


For PvP end game, with current meta of high speed AOE CC - it is hard to place a AOE DPS with no Crowd Control in Arena/GB, as per Bellona lately. But we could see some ML Baal / Dizzy /Luluca and ML Ara happening in arena.

Early on in the Challenger ranks, she will fit nicely in a fast AOE cleave.

NOTE: Her S1 and S3 damage will increase after few turns mostly, so she will be better on long fights.


The Sets:

Speed set will be the main choice for PvP, with high attack %.

Lifesteal would be optimal for early sustain in PvE as she will deal a lot of damage on each skill, including her most used s1 against bosses.


Artefact: Plenty of options as Etica's Scepter for overall use. About her new artefact Spirit's Breather (review below), it will depends her s2 cooldown, but for sure could be efficient in offence as you could soulburn 1 turn cooldown.




New Dark Knight: Fallen Cecilia

"Fallen Cecilia is chasing a mage who turned her family into dark magic stones, dreaming of the day she can get her revenge and join her loved ones again."


Skill 1: Mistake

Attacks with a spear of revenge, with a 85-100% chance to provoke for 1 turn. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health.


Skill 2: Strong Instinct

Grants a barrier for 2 turns to all allies at the beginning of battle, and grants a barrier for 2 turns to the ally with the lowest Health at the end of the caster's turn. Barrier strength increases proportional to the caster's max Health.


Skill 3: Spear of Resentment

Attacks all enemies in an explosion of spiteful emotions. Grants all allies Skill Nullifier, negating damage received from the next skill attack. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health. Soul Burn: -2 turn cooldown

Assumptions:

As per normal Cecilia, all skills synergise very well on her great Health pool which will make her an amazing support in both PvE and PvP.

Her Dark elemental advantage is the cherry on the cake.


For PvE, she will bring amazing sustain to your team in between her s2 barriers and s3 nullifiers buffs for your team. She won't be a must in any Hunts 11, but she will be key in hard stages of Abyss and Raids for sure.


For PvP end game, if she is build with a very high speed / hp and resistance while being paired with other tanks / support with high resistance too: she could be an annoying nightmare. Because if you don't have lots of resistance on your team, both barriers and nullifiers buffs will be immediately dispelled and useless.


The Set:

Speed all day long as she should come up with a very high speed base.

As mentioned, we can see her shine more as a support (however she could potentially be built on a bruiser type with counter / or elbris for the provoke).

High Speed / HP / Resistance will be key to her success.


Artefact: Aurius for stall defences is a classic on Knights, while Elbris could be interesting for her provoke in PvP.



Spirit's Breath (Mage)

50-100% chance to decrease skill cooldown by 1 turn when using a non-attack skill.


For any mage with support skill, and there aren't many. But once maxed it will be a 100% chance to reduce cooldown by one turn - which will compete to the famous mage artefact Etica's Scepter offering 50% once maxed at the end of the turn.



Conclusion:


For Luluca, we feel like SG is trying to put back a AOE def breaker in PvP with a little bit of sustain (her s2 def buff plus barrier) as most Bellona / Tenebria disappeared lately with new type of Cleave (Aux/Sez) - which doesn't hang very well in end game PvP nowadays.

But we could see Luluca competing very well in the meta depending her speed base.

She will be for sure a Hell of a PvE unit because she could perfectly fits in every content - including many Hunts 11 on the top of Abyss and Raids.


For Fallen Cecilia, she will be efficient but less attractive for PvE - even if she will be a perfect frontliner anywhere, she won't fasten the runs at all. And really not optimal for Hunts 11.

But for PvP arena and GB, if she is built right as advised above, she could become the seal of a new STALL RESISTANCE meta making Dizzy / ML Baal / ML Ara a story of the past!
