EPIC 7 / TOP ARENA 100: Report Analysis #1

Finally!

We are all about the stats requirements when it comes to E7 as we have been the very first platform to integrate stats numbers in our characters review, to give you more than " build her with Speed / Crit".

So now we are pushing the data a little bit further in starting with this simple report, in which we are taking a look at the 100 Top Arena Defence (Global Server) on start of the week - right after reset.

From now on, we will record periodically the 100 Top Arena Defence to generate comparisons later.

In doing so, we are not only looking at the most used units, the overall elemental dominance, the current type of compositions - we will be as well monitoring trends overtime to hopefully help you investing on the right units for your PvP progression.

Here below is our first Report Analysis / Fourth Week of May 2019:

Assumption:

- Those are the 12 most used units in the TOP 100 arena defence.

- Honourable mention to Roozid and Shooting Star Achates who are each in 6 teams.

- Within a single week of release, Dizzy clearly took over the whole Arena scene and ended up for good the few remaining Cleave defences we could still find before.

- ML Aramintha remains high in the list and first damage dealer option, but the type of comp around her have clearly changed due to her lack of tankiness in the current meta. She is only seen and valuable in a 1 DD / 2 SUPP / 1 CC formation at the moment (see chart below).

- Crimson Armin and Ruele remains the 2 key supports.

- ML Baal has clearly declined in top 100 for the past week, often replaced by Dizzy / or paired with her.

- ML Ken / Krau / Ass Cart / Kayron are main bruisers / damage dealers currently.

- Angelica / Diene / Destina share a fair piece of the pie when it comes to Soul Weavers.

Assumption:

- We did this Donuts because we always heard Top Arena was ALL about MoonLight Heroes.

Actually, it is more of a 50% mix with the other elements.

- Light elemental units came first, thanks to C.Armin / Ruele / ML Ara / ML Baal.

- The Dizzy trend just exploded the quota of water in the pool, but she scores it with Diene / Angelica / Krau who are in fair numbers.

- Dark, we can start to see both ML Ken and Ass Cart falling a bit short with all those late Light Heroes release. The Mystic summons greatly changed the game. The main reason is also Dizzy S3 which is a good counter to them both.

- Kayron and Destina / Roozid are keeping very little Fire and Earth elemental presence here.

*Legend: DD / Damage Dealer, Bruiser - SUPP / Support - CC / Crowd Control

Assumption:

- The most used type of composition for defence is 1 damage dealer / bruiser with 2 supports and 1 crowd control, for about 45% of the whole Arena list.

It makes sense as you want to be able to absorb damage from Cleaves, but still need that single damage dealer / bruiser to ensure your victory.

- The second type of composition are 2 damages dealers / bruisers with 1 support and 1 CC.

A more aggressive approach which always included at least one bruiser in it.

- Stall defences (with no damage dealer/ bruiser) still represent about 20% of the whole list.

Conclusion:

It is all about that Dizzy-ness actually, she rocks well and we are sure to see her growing even more in the next week as she has just been released. She clearly took the place of ML Baal in plenty of comps.

She helped players to integrate more damage dealer and bruiser, while she integrated perfectly into the classic stall defences with no damage dealer.

Overall, speed / Eff / Res / Hp stats represents about 95% of what you can find in arena currently. Very little for Attack based units.

We hope you liked our first report, we want to hear your feedbacks / comments about it - what kind of improvement or data you would like to see - it will help us greatly, as it takes us a good amount of time to pull these numbers out!

Have fun!
